Christoph Crepaz
AUSTRIA

Christoph has a long association with the arts and has managed many recording artists over the years. He has a passion for classical and baroque music and has done much to promote this music throughout Europe. He is also an advocate for music education and supports a number of charitable programmes. Christoph is the Honorary Consul for Austria. As the Secretary, Christoph manages the affairs of the Corps and works closely with The Dean.

Michael Dean
GERMANY

Michael grew up in Glasgow and studied European law at Glasgow University and the College of Europe in Bruges. Having worked in London as a lawyer for four years, he established what was to become a leading practice in Scotland connected to EU law and competition law. Michael has represented Germany as Honorary Consul in Glasgow for 13 years. He is a partner in Dentons UKMEE and a member of the Glasgow Phoenix Choir.

David Hunter
SWEDEN

David has been Honorary Swedish Consul in Glasgow since 2003.  Although he is Scottish, his wife Anna is Swedish. His professional background is in real estate, and he chairs or advises a range of listed and unlisted companies in the UK and overseas. He is also an Honorary Professor at Heriot-Watt University. David enjoys golf, field sports and fishing. David played a leading role in conceiving and implementing the 2019 merger between the Glasgow and Edinburgh Consular Corps to create the Consular Corps in Scotland.

Hatice Tuğba İkizler
TURKEY

Hatice Tuğba is a career diplomat having been in the Turkish foreign service for 17 years. She has served in Turkish Embassies in Islamabad and London and also worked at the Secretariat of the Turkic Council in Istanbul as well as various departments at the Turkish Foreign Ministry. Before coming to Edinburgh, she was Head of Department at the Deputy Directorate for EU Affairs. She has two children and enjoys exploring Edinburgh and the beautiful Scottish landscape with them.

John Scott Moncrieff

A Consul since 1985, John was a Partner in the Law Firm Murray Beith Murray WS for four decades. His personal and lifelong passion has always been, and still is, for the Arts, especially Theatre. Over the years, he has devoted much of his time to the Arts having served as Chair on 8 Theatre Boards across the UK. In Scotland, he was Chair of the Scottish Arts Council's Performing Arts Committee for 6 years. John is currently Bailie of Holyroodhouse and Convener of the Saltire Society.
